Oyster Shell Divison

Introduction

The oyster shells that we can recommend with confidence.

The Oyster Shell Division imports and sells about 6 million oyster shells, which are necessary for culturing seaweed seeds (spores), from China annually.

Chinese oyster shells are thicker and more robust than domestic oyster shells.

Nori(seaweed in Japanese) cultivation begins with spores in the oyster shell. Nori seeds grow by melting the high-quality limestone of the oyster shells, and in about 3 months the oyster shells are covered with seaweed seeds in black.

Our oyster shells are thick and rich in sea minerals and natural limestone, which is useful for culturing good quality seaweed.

Philosophy

With better quality, we want to gain the further trust of the Nori producers!

The deliciousness of Ariake Nori, one of the best branded seaweeds in Japan, is delivered to the dining table nationwide by the efforts of the producers who are involved in making seaweed with the blessed natural environment, the skill of the incubator, and the time and effort.

We are impressed with the local belief that they will provide the highest quality and we are proud to help the Nori producers in the production process.
